The new Nintendo Switch Online already has a perfect date, price and promotion for animal crossing fans
Nintendo has taken advantage of the presentation of the new contents of Animal Crossing: New Horizons to make known by surprise and at the last moment the price of its new online subscription, the controversial Pack of Nintendo Switch expansion Online with Classics of Nintendo 64 and Mega Drive by which you will have to pay more, in addition to specifying your release date, which will take place in just a few days.
Atabouts of the discomfort that this decision has generated, those of Kyoto have adopted a frankly intelligent market strategy. Upload the price, yes, but those who subscribe will receive the new expansion of animal crossing content, valued at 24.99 euros, so that increase would be coming almost entirely to the purchase of this expansion pack.
The expansion pack reaches an individual annual rate of 39.99 euros taking this into account, individual subscription of Nintendo Switch online + expansion package will be 39.99 euros for 12 months , while the family plan has a price of 69.99 euros for 12 months . But on the line of other services such as Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus, Nintendo warns: Subscribers can get downloadable content for free and play it while having an active subscription.
This new service will be available from October 26 , and as we already tell you days ago, you will come accompanied by Nintendo 64 classics as Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, Mario Tennis or without And Punishment for quoting some. In addition to these, over time, there will arrive other large 64-bit console sets such as Banjo & Kazooie, the remembered Paper Mario or F-Zero. Similarly, Nintendo Switch Online will welcome several Mega Drive classics such as Golden Ax, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Shinning Force or Streets of Rage 2 among others.
Given the intense debate that was generated around the announcement of this package of expansion, in 3DGEGOS we published an opinion column in which our fellow Jesus Bella affirmed that Nintendo continues to understand what a good online subscription must be.
